I want to LSX swap a Gen 2 CTS V6 RWD Luxury Wagon to an Iron block 5.7L. What will I need? Are the factory ECU and Transmission capable of this swap?

You will need a CTS V8 model to swap virtually everything out of-engine cradle,steering rack,wiring harness,exhaust,rad,trans,driveshaft,differential, I don't think anything is common between the V6 and V8 models...

Im working on one now. Im using a iron 6.0 and a 4l80. FAST EZ EFI and a TCI tranny controller. Its also got a Ford 9" going in it as well. I can get some pics of what I done on the motor mounts if your interested.
