Default Will the Monte Carlo SS Pedal work with an E67?

2007 E67 ECU from a Trailblazer SS currently using the 'very' bulky Trailblazer pedal. Will the Monte Carlo pedal work in it's place?

This topic has popped up before. I like the Impala SS (not Monte Carlo) pedal and use it in all my swaps. They are inexpensive and easy to mount and modify.

If I'm looking at the right image, it appears to have a triangular protrusion at the back instead of being somewhat flat as others. What year Impala pedal do you prefer?
