There's a thread on here with a TV cable set up at the pedal, not at the TB/carb.
You're gonna spend some time tuning the governor for LS7 shift points.

Not all TH200-4R's are created equal. Only the '86-87 Buick GN/TType I believe had the BRF valvebody which is where a lot of the shifting magic comes from. Plenty of my friends went hog wild with a fully built billet internals and even with those upgrades they routinely had transmission issues when pushed hard in 600rwhp+ Buick GN V6 turbo setups weighing 3500lbs+.
I would try to make a 4L80E work and never look back. Some basic upgrades should be able to handle 800rwhp for a while. The internals of a 4L80E make the TH200-4R look like little twigs.
If you got a manual valvebody installed couldn't you use the Lightning rods then with some mods?
