Front cover alignment tool? Hi all,
I have to replace the front cover on my '08 6.2L, & stumbled upon this pair of alignment tools while looking for the correct gaskets. The question that I have is..
Are these a "must-have" , a "good idea", or just a waste of money??

Must have - definitely not.
Good idea - absolutely! Especially if you're going to use it more than once.
The job can be done without those tools, but it's a bit of a pain to get right the first time.

Agreed....I used a good caliper. It definitely helps to have the engine out of the car.
