Default Connector ID

Hey guys, I need some help IDing some connectors and wires. I have a couple wires labeled CEL and VSS. I already have a VSS wire going to the transmission I believe and Im not too sure about where this other VSS goes. I have no idea where the CEL goes to or what it stands for.

I also have these two in the pics below. They are both on the passenger side of the engine.

VSS is Vehicle Speed Sensor, if you have it labled, then it most likely is coming from the PCM and is the wire for your speedometer. CEL is the Check Engine Light, it sends a ground to turn it on if theres a problem.

In your pics, the white one looks like the crank sensor, and plugs in behind the starter, its easy to miss. The purple one is the MAF sensor plug

I think the first pic might be the alternator since it is a 4 pin connector with two pins used?

No, he's right, it's a 4 pin connector. You have to make it bigger to see it. It has 2 pins in the middle, my guess it they're going to be brown and gray.

Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but just getting ready to start plugging in a harness on a 5.3. Any suggestions on a Youtube Video, or web link that can walk through the process ? (at least I will get the white alternator and MAF plug right !!)
