I didn't make a full pass at the track, it was just a pair of test runs to shake stuff down. I waited in staging for over 2 hours for my third pas and had to bail because of time constraints. I think I can get into the high 6s in the 1/8 with this combo. Car has been 7.0s with a 383 and nitrous.

2.25" crossover pipe that runs between the flywheel and the transmission pan. Passenger side manifold started life as a passenger truck manifold. We flipped it and ripped it down the middle and added 2.5" pipe on top and added a log for the crossover pipe to join it in the rear. I see that Holly sells a cast manifold that looks just like this, but costs around $700. Glad we built it ourselves.

Got some more stuff squared away on the car. The plugs getting gapped to .026" fixed the spark blow out under boost.
My converter was flashing to 2800 RPM so I sent it off the be bumped up to around 3500. When I got it back in the car, it only flashes to 2400... So I'm going to give the trans shop a call and see what's up.
Got the car on a dyno and found out that I needed a boost reference FPR. The motor was running out of fuel at 5500, with the wideband showing AFR creeping into the high 12's low 13's. So now I've got Holley return fuel rails, a boost reference FPR, and the assorted fitting sitting on the table ready to go in. The car made 595/586 on 12# and 13 degrees shutting it down at 5500 RPM. Pretty pleased with that part because the goal from the beginning of the project was 700 whp, and winding up to 6500 RPM should get us there no problem.
Just noticed that my ET Streets are showing cords, so time to get some new ones. Trying to figure out the best DOT legal tire and best size for my car. Ready to get back to the track with a different converter, on full power, and try to run into the 6's.

I'm waiting on MT to release the ET Street R in a 275/60 15 size, they told me it should be late this month. I won't be running them much on the street, so traction is more of a concern than longevity. They'll just be a track tire - I run MT S/T tires around town. I'm also curious how big of a tire I can go on my setup. Would like to go as wide as possible.

Here's the only video I have and it's from before the new FPR, tires, and torque converter. It's a pig out of the hole on these clips (1.9x 60') but it pulls like crazy once it builds boost.
I ended up getting the new ET street R tire in 275/60/15, and it is a great, big, sticky tire. It fits on my 8.5" rim and the car needed a little massaging but they fit now.
I'm enjoying driving the car around town and just driving it everywhere. It feels great to just turn the key and go. My DD Subaru's battery is on the way out so I have more confidence that this will start right now. LS for the win!

Consistently lowering my ET every time we go to the track. New converter is currently flashing to 3200 but I think I can get more RPM out of it if I make more power with the laptop down in the RPM range. I went 7.25 @ 100 with a 1.85 60' (main issue we're working on).
A month ago it would take me 2.2 seconds from throttle hit to get to 7# of boost. Saturday after new converter and timing adjustments it took 1.8 seconds to get the same boost. When I pulled the car off the trailer last night I messed with timing and fuel some more I was able to build 2 psi on the 2 step and got to 7#s in 1.42 seconds after launch.
Ready to go back to the track and find out how quick I can get out of the hole now. I'm also out of spring on the wastegate at 11.5 psi so I'm working on turning that up to around 14 to see what it'll run. We're definitely on the right track getting it ironed out.
