Default Need help ASAP

Ok Guy's 70 c10 with a turbo ls1 speed density tuned. Truck has been running for a while but never actually put any miles on it as its not road worthy. The last couple time I've started it to move it out of the garage it started to run like it was running out of gas. Long story short I parked it for a month or so. Took it out of the garage yesterday to work on it. Went to start it and it had a tough time. When it did start I had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. It died on me and I wasn't able to get it at started again. It has fuel and pressure at the rail. Took out a couple spark plugs and theyou are black. I've only let it idle a half dozen times until operating temperature with no issues. Not sure how the plugs are so black or why this is happening all of a sudden. Anyou ideas? I'm willing to try. Thanks

I hate to be master of the obvious, but it is running rich...LOL

How confident are you in the tune?

It was a baseline tune just to get it running so I could move it around at the house. It ran and idled fine before. You think plugs are the issue?

Hard to say. A bad tune could have killed the plugs.

Please don't tell me you're running a turbo setup without a wideband.

I have a wide band. When idling it's around 14.5 if I remember. I've only let it idle and pull it in and out of the garage every once in a while. I'm gonna clean all the plugs and see if I can get it started. Checked for spark last night and that's good.

Well I pulled every plug and theyou were all very black. Cleaned them up, installed them and it fired right up. Now question is what is causing this and what range should the wide band read? I fired it up and took a video of it. Tell me what you think.

That's what I thought. Not sure how the plugs got so black. I've only driven it down the street twice, moved it in and out of the garage half dozen times and let it idle here and there. Could the gauge not be reading correctly? The plugs say it's running way to rich.

A couple months probably. Never keep more then a few gallons in the tank because I know I'm not going to drive it. Put 4 fresh gallons in yesterday.

I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet. Motors don't like to sit and just running it for short periods of time is hard on them. Maybe an injector is gummed up and sticking, O2 sensor needs to burn off some soot, etc. Get it out for a long drive where it can get to full operating temp and everything might clear up.

Actually you might have too much rubber on the rear tires. Get out and burn some of that off and the car will be happier with you.
