Good point, I forgot to mention the spacers, I forgot all about them lol. I actually got some all thread the same size and made "studs" that screwed into the mount bolt holes. Much easier to slide the straps over the studs and put a nut on than trying to stab the bolts.

Love the build, and the quality of work. Nicely done on the AC system. Do you happen to know if that Hawk AC block is the same for fbody compressors as the truck compressors?

Thanks!

They make several of those adapters. Not sure which one you'll need. Just check their website, I think it lists the compressors for each adapter.

Have been super busy lately, haven't had much time to mess with the car. Hoping to finish up the AC this week.

I did come across these and couldn't pass them up since they match the car! lol. Been gathering the rest of the Nitrous parts here and there. Definitely want to get some passes in on motor before adding the nitrous.

It had found a set of 17" Pony R's, brand new in the box. 17x10 (with correct offset for SN95 axles) and 17x6.5 chrome 5-lug. I looked for a long time before I found a set, but after finally finding a set, I realized as much as I drive my car, I would be SCREWED if I messed one of them up because they are impossible to find. So I found somebody that needed them a lot more ($$$) than I did.

So for now I'm going to keep rolling on my 18's for daily duties and I grabbed a set of RaceStars while they had the big sale going on. I'll throw some drag radials and runners on and they will be perfect for trips to the track!

Grey RaceStars
15x10 rears
17x4.5 fronts

What back spacing did you go with on the racestars? I'm looking to get a set and also have the wider ns95 axle. Thanks.

15x1" with 7.25" Backspacing. 3/4" wider than Fox BS.

Nice work, but that is also a LOT of work to replace a well running engine with one that is going to be about the same powerwise. Not including nitrous that is.

Thanks.

I grabbed some new front brakes to put on before I put the new wheels on. Wilwood calipers and a set of brackets to fit them on the SN95 spindles, along with the kevlar lines/fittings and a set of pads

The brackets allow them to be used on 13" Cobra rotors.

I already have 13" drilled/slotted rotors

Yeah you'll have a tough time fitting any 15" wheel on any Cobra brakes without a spacer and/or major grinding on the caliper.

I have 17x4.5 Racestars going on the front
