I have been looking thru alot of forums on what cam setup to go with and decided to make my own post. Within the next week I will be buying a 95 240sx with a seized 5.3 truck engine already installed.

I am planning on just buying another used 5.3 to put in it. I want to shoot for around 300whp. Does anyone have a good balanced cam to recommend? It has an ls1 intake and c6 headers/injectors.

I made 325rwhp with the ASA cam in my stock LH8. The cam is lumpy, so if you want something that doesn't have a choppy idle, pick something with wider lobe separation. Look at the various "drop in" truck cams. They have good torque and are easier to tune.
