Default 6.0 lc8 in 2nd gen camaro

Hey guys, I have a chance to get my hands on a 2012 6.0 lc8 motor. Research shows it runs on gas, E-85 or CNG. I am a little nervous though with it being the "hybrid" motor, would I still be able to mod it and make good power like any other ls motor? Plan is to drop it in my 79 camaro with a t56 and have it comparable to my ls1 t56 camaro with hcie. If anyone here has experience on this motor or any info at all really, I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't have any exp. with them, but if it was used on CNG, the motor should be clean internally *IF* they changed the oil regularly. From what I've read, CNG burns clearer and doesn't contaminate the oil with alot of bad byproducts of gas. (blowby-rings)

IF you want to try keeping CNG, it allows much higher comp. from what little I've read on it. Even if you don't, and it comes with CNG parts, I would think you would have no plroblem selling on Fleabay.

Don't forget to start a build thread once you start the swap. Best of luck!
