Caddy CTS-V LS-A swap
I have an opportunity to purchase the engine / trans / interior from a totaled 2014 CTS-V (drunk b-in-law), has anyone performed the swap into a '72 Z28? The car is an original 30K mileage vehicle, is it worth performing the swap, not interested in de-valuation, i don't plan on selling.
What are the pitfalls and challenges in doing so?
Also, who are reliable parts manufacturers of conversion kits?
Holley makes excellent swap components for second gen f-bodies. Get their mounts, pan, headers, etc....and have fun doing burn outs.

I'm using a Holley Dominator EFI setup in mine because it's going to be an on going project.
There are plenty of aftermarket swap systems for the oil pan/mounts/headers. I would buy a kit that's known to work together. Buying mounts from one person and headers oil pan from others doesn't always work the greatest.
Edit: GM performance offers different kits to work with different engine trans combinations so the one I linked may not be the exact one you need.
Thanks.
