No problem. Has to be 6" forward of the flywheel/bellhousing area. A lot of techs might not hassle you, but to be legal that's the rule.

Default update 11/10/17

Hey guys, been really busy with school and havn't had much time to work on the car. Since the last post I have gotten the car running and its a blast to drive! its made 4psi of boost lol at about 60% throttle and blows the tires off at 50 mph and tune seems to be good so far.

Everything is kinda thrown together at the moment to get the car moving around and make sure things are operating correctly. Once I get more time I will go back and straighten things out and make them more permanent.
Trans works and shifts strong, stock foxbody 4cly radiator is keeping it at 190 no problems and my harbor freight welded hot side is working no problemos

Issues that I had to fix with the microsquirt to get it to run were 1) the resistor inside the ecu needed to be un-soldered and moved to different pins. 2) the crank position sensor needed to be wired 5v negative not 10v positive or 5v positive and the firmware was not the right one. talk about a pain in the *** to figure out. I dont want to spend the money on a cowl hood prices are crazy and this is a budget build so I just made the stock hood work, I think it looks awesome lol the turbo was originally sideways in front of the radiator but decided that it was too close to everything and it fits way better facing forward so thats how it sits now.

Hopefully by January it will be mostly complete.

Its still running good, completed the 5 lug swap, put in new headlights and cowl hood. The th400 is on its last leg but with almost 400 miles on it and a whole bunch of pulls im happy with how long it has lasted for a 200$ craigslist special. I actually had to wash it today since a bunch of tree saw dust got on it. here's a clip.
