I ended up putting Wilwood disc brakes on all 4 corners. I put a 1" bore master cylinder on the car and it doesn't have enough braking power. I'm assuming I'll need a 7/8". Little brake bleed for fun!
Fun fact. These 4 piston calipers have as much braking power as my drums.

A Fast truck intake would clean up that engine bay big time not to mention give you a few extra ponies.

A 1" master is for running a power booster not manual. Do you have a proportioning valve on it?
