will a truck oil pan work?
It will fit. And will be too low. The Camaro pan / pickup tube work with many engine mounts, depending on setback. Holley has some solutions as well.

I'm not really sure about the injectors. They will fit ,but may be different flow that could cause an issue with a 5.3 (without a specific tune). The fuel rails will interchange. I'd suggest read a BUNCH of build threads here and via Google.
Can I just put my powersteering pump on and change to a serpentine pulley?
thx
We have the truck setup in an 88 mc ls and I have a 78 Malibu that will get the same setup.

Just trying to figure out which way is the easiest way to mount the power steering pump.
Use the truck pump, or does the camino one bolt directly in and just requires a pulley swap. Keeping my existing hoses intact. Or do I haver to rework the hoses using the truck pump already on the bracket?
Unless someone swapped 79 or older stuff in.
So test fit the hose(s). G-bodies, you can use the hi pressure hose from just a ton of GM cars, bend it or route it a bit and it will work. Just try g-body, third gen F body, with AC, without AC.
Go test the truck accessories. And your old PS pump if you want. No one is going to explore the world for you like you.
The truck intake works on Monte carlos, malibu and elcs should be the same. May have to cut the top parts down that are for the cover.
Now I'm sure this depends on what mounts you use, I'd want the one that put the engine low in the bay.
No body wants to spend money unless you have to.
