Default Truck intake fits

As a reference. Truck intake fits with 3/4" ataptors.... but barely. With a few adjustments in motor mount position/ height I think the LSA is doable.... just remember clearance up top creates clearance issues on bottom. Oil pan will hang below the crossmember. Could interfere with the center link. Your exhaust and the steering box...

When you say 3/4'' adapters your saying adapters that lift the engine 3/4'' or lower ?

You will need to get a Holley 302-1 Pan for starters.........and Adapter pates for the motor mounts to raise the engine slightly for cross member clearance ......I have some in stock if you are interested........I have that set-up in my 66 Impala and a Edelbrock Supercharger with out any issues

I put one in a 2000 S10 and the stock hood closes but just barely with the plastic cover, I think a 65 Impala would have more room between the hood and top of your old engine than an S10 did with a 4.3 (basically a V8 -2 cylinders)
