Default Ls376 problems

After reading multiple forum posts, I am worried about the LS376/480 throttle lag issues. The DBW system seems to be an issue. Is it? I can adjust my idle with a screwdriver. I am looking for a beast that is scary (fun) to drive, not a bunch of hassles. I am now looking at a crate ZZ427.
I build computers for a living and know from first hand experience that they can be tough to figure out....
Thoughts????
Thanks

Presumably you are talking about the LS3/480HP? There are no DBW lag issues...

You won't be able to adjust the idle with a screwdriver....nor do you want to. DBW is the cat's ***...

Andrew, thanks for the reply. Yes, regarding the L3/480, please help me understand this. If there are no issues, why are there many forum questions, regarding throttle delay? There are even a couple of products the claim to eliminate it. After researching this, I have found many forum posts complaining of throttle lag and throttle issues such as throttle not returning to idle, remaining at 2000 rpm between shifts, etc.
Are these just problems related to something else or?
I thought I had found the perfect motor for my restoration, now don't know. Any insight you might have would be helpful.
Thanks in advance

Try SPRINT BOOSTER. Its a module that plugs into your throttle peddle (gas) and takes out the lag. LOKAR also does this with a new pedal assembly. Two different ways to skint the cat.

Save yourself a lot of work zeroing in on the right tune -- just put a stock LS3 (430HP) in it and run it with a stock GM ECU - mine's running on an 08 Corvette computer. Flawless. and 18-26 mpg to boot. More low end torque than the LS480 -- and plenty of power up top to make the 'Bird fun to drive. Throttle response and corresponding acceleration with the DBW on the LS3 is - to put it in medical terms - well, see the license plate.

Stop reading the internet.....LOL....Never believe half the stuff you read....I have installed 4 LS3 connect and cruise packages, and all DBW, and never has a single throttle lag issue....at all.

Throttle lag is usually related to other problems, vacuum leaks, shitty/spliced wiring etc....or some "tuner" screws with the file, like messing with the throttle cracker, or decay rates to try to fix a mechanical issue, and only dicks up the entire tune...
