E38 vss question

E38 vss question How? How do I get vss output from a e38 Coming off a 2012 escalade? It's going into a 67 c10 so I cant use anyways but I want to have it because eventually I'm gonna go with Dakota digital gauges so vss will have to be functional. Any ideas?
Get the pin out for that year, there should be a pin marked engine speed signal, or speed output, or something like that, usually a white wire. That will go to the DD controller and calibrate speedo from the DD setup instructions.

The 4k output is disabled on the Escalade. You will have to go into the tune and enable it. Change the Speed Output Type from WheelSpd to VehRepTOS and change the Vehicle Speed Output from Disabled to RepTOS. You will also need to configure your VSS pulses, tire size, gear ratio, etc. accordingly. The Vehicle Speed Signal wire is X1-57.

if u go with the digital Dakota gauges get there OBD2 interface. It will plug directly into the OBD2 port and run all the gauges as factory. I wanna say its only 100 bux. I used it in a 78c10 that we did a 2016 5.3/6l80e swap. Worked great and hardly any wiring needed.
