Default c10 ls7 build

Hi everyone, new to the forum but I've been messing around with LS swaps for a while so I decided to join the forum and contribute. I would like to share the latest project updates here in this post. It's on a c10 ls7 build I'm doing for a friend of mine. Im video logging that build and my g35 lsx build. Both projects will be fully functional A.C. and PS rides. Should be fun. Hope you enjoy. Comment like share but don't be to harsh with the constructive criticism lol

Figured out what I was gonna do to retain the factory ls7 AC compressor and not have to cut up the frame. Check it out and let me know what you think

It was a little tough to hear over the music. From what I gather, the pilot bearing was left in from the manual car and it is causing issues??

yes! We have looked at it and my boss builds more transmission than I do so I'm going with his recommendation. When we fire it up and ready to run thru the gears..... If it moves great.... If not we replace the front pump. And yes the customer is ready to kill the paint and body man. They had a plan on building this truck then the customer changed his mind on what engine and trans he wanted after all paint and body was done. So the paint guy was trying to do this himself but obviously had no clue what he was doing. That's how it fell in my lap. I have done a few custom LS swaps plus in the middle of my g35 ls swap. Also no one around our little town wanted to touch it because it was a custom job. So I took it in and I work on it when I can.

also I'm doing the video editing on my phone mostly so any constructive criticism is welcomed. My laptop has went out on me and its been hard figuring out how to keep videos flowing.

Looks like you are making some serious headway! From the customers perspective, it really sucks when you pay someone to do something and they botch it, so I can feel for him on that end!

yeah you are definately right and he is a really nice guy so I'm trying to help him out as much as I can. I work on it when I get a chance but the day to day shop work comes before his custom job. It helps keep cost down. Fast isn't cheap and cheap isn't fast... but either way the quality will be there if you come into our shop.

I have to shave a 1/8 off the tensioner mounting area. The tensioner will still mount and work properly.

Wednesday night I'll hopefully finish fabbing up the new engine mount pedestals. I'm lowering the engine as far down in the frame rails as I can so it should be interesting how it turns out.
