Can i replace camshaft and lifters to performance without additional work?

1990 chevy caprice c91... Can i change the camshaft and lifters that are Performance i suppose, it says on the name. Edelbrock 3702 Performer-Plus Camshaft and Lifter Kit.... Without doing additional work on the vehicle?

Unless there is a lobe missing off your existing camshaft,changing it will do little but lighten your wallet without any other mods to complement it.

Does your car have a ls engine or is it the original engine? Ls engines are very easy to do a cam swap but a earlier small block requires removing the intake and distributor.
