Default Ls1 Front Accessory Question

Hey guys. I’m swapping an LS6 into my FD Rx7 and need to order up an FBody serpentine system to make all the clearances I’m looking a for.

Below are the GMPP parts that I know fit.

This is is not only a practical swap but Since im spending the already $1500 on a kit I would rather spend that money on some billet parts. But am running into a snag. I cannot as of right now find a billet serpentine kit that keeps the stock depth and mounting locations of the f-body/ctsv.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’m looking for a kit that provides everything (ac, ps, wp) but meets the clearance needs I’m looking for.

Any my help would be greatly appreciated. Thank a bunch!

Oh and I would prefer fo put an ATI damper.

Have you seen the new Holley Mid mount system? Nice and compact! It comes with a Mechman style alternator and C7 style water pump. I am getting ready to install one in mine.

I wonder it's depth compared to a stock F-Body Setup. Anyone have a schematic?

maybe something I can compare to Holleys?

Holley's earlier setup is very similar to a Vette setup, but can be spaced out to F-Body/GTO depth or Truck/VVT depth. Read their PDFs on it.

Their mid-mount, I have not yet used.

Also, you mention billet. Go on Jegs again and search LS accessory. The billet aftermarket setup by March indicates they use a hub adapter for the crank pulley to match F-body spacing. Another option . . .

I have just installed a Holley mid mount. It appears thst they came up with a custom length balancer that is somewhere around truck length. It is longer than an F-body because that is what I had. I think it is a little shorter than standard truck parts. It is very compact though.

BTW - I have a complete LS Brackets.com setup with AC, 145 amp alternator and PS. I also have the F-body water pump and balancer. PM me if you are interested. The Holley system fit my car (Austin Healey) much better than the one I took off. Most of it is new never ran.

talking to their tech they are saying that it mounts the serpentine at the same depth as the corvette balancer.

You up are saying it is more like the truck depth? Sorry about all the questions but I wish I could find an oem fbody assembly diagram to compare to the Holley kit.

The balancer is definitely longer than an F-body which is longer than a Vette. I don't see how it could be in the same place. Unless he's talking about a late model Vette.

If you have the room, the Holley low mount setup also has F-body spacing.
