Default Valve/coil covers

Building an LS3 for my 55 Chev. Having troubles finding vale/coil covers that are different.
Not interested in Proform valve covers look
Looking for something along the lines of the ones made by Hot Rod Dynamics
I'll have them powder coated to a specialized finish that I have in mind
I've Googled and I'm not coming up with something different and unique
Any ideas or leads?

I think that you've hit on the biggest aesthetic weakness of the LS engine - virtually all of the valve covers & coil covers suck, appearance-wise. I've contacted "a major manufacturer" about a year ago with a request/suggestion, I had a Director or VP -level guy tell me that what I suggested was "a great idea" & that "It's in the pipeline, but I can't speak as to when it will enter production..."

Yeah - he's probably preparing a run for office as we speak...

I'll be watching this thread, because I've periodically looked around to see what's available, but so far it's either been "uninspiring SUCKAGE" or laughably-overpriced. I hope that you're able to stir up something new that's worthwhile...

Relocate the coils, make a nicer fuel rail, put on a Victor Jr LS EFI intake and you are golden.

Op, have you considered relocating the coils for more options?

Could relocate coils but prefer hiding them under a valve cover.
Ordering stacked induction unit, no Victor Jr on this motor.

Actually these were on my short list
But I can't get past the bolts in the top corners.

Those are for oil fill/pcv hoses. They are just -12 ORB fittings. I changed mine out to black countersunk hex head fittings from fragola.

I suggest you consider your booster clearance first. I did hydroboost on my 57 and did not check fitment first. Beautifully powdercoated covers if I may say so myself, now useless to me.
