Vss settings

so my problem is im hitting my speed limiter. Ill be going maybe thirty and e38 on hptuners says like 160

any help would be apreciato!

This is a PCM problem, you’re in the wrong place.

What 8.Lug DIDN'T tell you is this should be in PCM Diagnostics and Tuning.

Good call! I should of posted there. So we didnt figure out the math yet; but thought to just verify by maxing out the speed limiter, and it runs like a bat out of hell now. Soo I think its safe to say its a vss speed limiter problem. The pcm is still pegging out at 158mph though. I at least can drive the speed limit now.

It really made a lot of sense once we could data log. I was so confused thinking what kind of CEL would ignition cut at a pre determined speed. Once he pointed that out; I was duhh!

but I still would like it to be on and thats why I thought someone that did a conversion like this could say its either a different option on the signal or its a pupse per rev or something. I think I may be better suited in the pcm sub forum though. Thanks! As always though.
