Call Bob Hanlon he can set you up with a adapter to bolt it to a conventional bellhousing.
You then need a quicktime bellhousing for a chevy engine to a ford trans. Lakewood has a pilot bearing for this application.

Tim,

Do you have pictures?

i came across this awhile back.. i was thinking of doing it as well until that huge fire which has become known as the worst disaster in US history took both the stang and the tahoe i was using. I did manage to find another 2001 GT with the 3650 and found a 2001 tahoe with 4.8/4L60 combo but i still need to get all the other random parts that i had pieced together. here is the link:

So, what do you guys think of the T45 transmission? Cause lm a proud owner of one, lol, thought it was. 3650, but it wasn't. There are things l like about, might look at making an adapter for this one too, since you can't get on anymore.

It's a lq4 with 799 heads, 220/224 0.575 lift, plan is a new edge mustang. Mainly a fun, easy to work on daily drive that l can have fun on the weekends, drag race some, auto cross, a gentleman's sports. Cause l can't afford a new mustang gt, or a scat pack charger/ challenger.

Just to be clear l have 2 3650's and now a t45.

If you want my honest opinion, I think you should save your pennies and buy a T56 Magnum. They shift great and are bullet proof. The last thing you want in a fun car is to be worried about grenading the trans whenever you step on the gas.

You are correct, I've thought about many times, l have a hard time spending that much a trans. I should just put an 80 in it with a turbo and be done,

Now you're talking....

Something simple, like the Holley iron log. BW S475...4L80e

You can probably do all that for the cost of the T56 Magnum.

Here is my other problem, I already have the 80e, a GT45 Turbo, intercooler, 2 38mm wastegates, need to stay focused and on track. A big part of me wants to bang some gears, do some HPDE, then go turbo, run some low ets.

Stop messing around with these transmissions and just build it. You have the parts!

What bellhousing would you like to see used? I'm thinking of a 621 reproduction, then there a new steel option as well.
I have a 621 for the bbc trucks, so that would keep the cost down for me.
I came across on a decent deal on a T-45, I have the bellhousing off already, and it looks decent. This one looks a little easier to deal with, due to the shape, and design of the shift rails, only two to deal with, so this may be the first one to try out.

Thanks
