Relatively speaking, pressure under normal circumstances is low in there, it should not need a bead at all. Although it is of course good practise.

With a system pressure of no lore than 10psi I figured
it wouldn’t have been a problem but with the upper hose popping off for the second time I gotta change it up.

There is absolutely no way a correctly installed hose should be popping off at 10psi. Nor 20psi...and not even 30psi.

Maybe around 30psi I'd say a bead would be starting to become very important. But not at all at 10psi.

Is the hose ID a bit larger than the neck it goes on? If so the clamp would have to be VERY tight to hold it on at even 10 psi.

One would hope the correct size hose is being used.

No...but if not, they deserve to have hoses coming off etc. It's not difficult to get it all right.

Agree here too! And I have a feeling the OP got most if not all correct, so it IS a mystery as to the hose slipping off at such low pressure.

Could be as simple as clamp incorrect, not tightened properly etc.

Or maybe there is more pressure in there than he thinks. I assume the "10psi" is guessed rather than measured ?
