which tcu for 411 ecu hello gents, this may pose as a dumb question but I've searched forums and google galore with zero answers. I bought a 2006 Chevy van harness and ecu for a 6.0l with 4l80e (blue/green 411 type) I just did some digging via lt1swaps website and found out which tac module and pedal assembly I needed and ordered them but I cant find any definite answers on which tcu I need that will work with this harness and trans. any trans or harness gurus wish to shed some light on this for me please? thank you in advance for any info. quick parts search shows many different part numbers when it comes to 2006 Chevy tcu. I can find a few different part numbers but they all show working for that generation sierra, vans, suv, etc. so I'm not sure if they will all work or if one specifically is needed. anywho, thanks in advance for your help and $.02

Maybe these will help, I'm slightly new to the ecu, harness swap stuff.been wrenching on ls stuff for many years but never got this involved until now. So sorry if I'm confusing you guys, I may be very wrong on what I have and working with.

I can tell you from experience that when a salvage yard marks something it doesn't necessarily mean that is what it came from. They will also tell you certain things are compatible with or the same as and they aren't. I don't even want to go down the rabbit hole of how many times I've seen that.

I completely understand, I'm new to the harness modification and swapping ecu/tcu/etc into a vehicle it never was intended on coming in. I am NOT new to wrenching and the shady salvage yards/sellers. been turning wrenches over 20 years. and thank you doug and joe. I wish my pics would load to better assist the diag on this. the whole reason I asked is I'm deleting emissions and extra sensors in my harness and adding new pins where needed and I still have a large grey plug on the trans side. I assumed tcu as I deleted the other sensors, but ill double triple check. thinking it may be the neutral safety switch plug even though I deleted those pins out. maybe I'm retarded and missed it lol. we shall see, thanks gents and ill report back my finding.
Yes, that would be the neutral safety/back up light switch.
