swapping a LS2 in a 2002 F150 kingranch Hi all,
Im Sascha im from a performance shop in switzerland.
I was on sema last week and noe we are planing building a prerunner out off our shoptruck for display (beacuse there is no dessert in switzerland :-) )wich is a 202 F150 King ranch 4-door 4x4.
We did a 525hp LS3 swap to a 2006 Mallet C6 Corvette a few weeks ago. Now we have the mallet LS2 sitting in our shop wich made 420hp on our dyno.
Now i have the idea to swap the LS2 into the truck, The truck got the stock 5.4 engine. Its pretty slow.
Can someone told me if there is a adapter for the tranmisson to the LS? WE would go with a complete haltech ECU, because we are haltech dealer. So the only matter is if the engine fits to the transmission.

If you're asking if there is an adapter to mount the Ford transmission to the LS2, I would doubt it, not to mention it would be hard to set up the electronic part of it. Why not just get a 4l60e or better yet a 4l80e? Unless of course they are not easy to get in Switzerland?

keeping the ford pushbuttons working might be tricky but maybe not. IIRC they are vacuum actuated and it just pulls a lever forward and back. if the GM tcase has the same actuation and gear layout you might be able to make that work. youd just need a 4l80e and tcase from a silverado/sierra HD from 99-current.
