yeah that stuff irks me to no end. I understand some of it, not bringing the right tool or something. But a see a lot of plain malicious destruction. No respect for recycling, other people's property
I went to get a truck harness to thin for the squarebody a couple days ago. 4 LS powered trucks...all of them the harnesses were shredded to bits. I mean the connectors are easy to remove, why do that? It's almost harder than just unclipping it all.

yep, truck after truck had there cable cut so that the yard can dump the engine/tranny out. Wonder if the yard owner would approve. But then again I walked out of there with 2 cables for $5 so maybe cutting versus un-hooking was worth the $2.50?

Verdad Gallardo haha man, having worked at a not-open-to-the-public junkyard (1st job) I can say that the dismantlers are usually paid near or below minimum wage (under the table) and it's literally the only job they can get (my mom did the books there, i was 15 and liked cars) and there is NO chance of excelling, moving up or even having your hard work recognized in the tiniest way.
