E-rod LS3 and in tank fuel pump recommendation Hi - I had been running MSD EFI and an EFI fuel tank by Spectra in my 77 Trans Am. Fuel pump is an Aeromotive 11540 fuel pump. The pump has specs of 90 PSI max pressure and 340 lph.
My understanding is the E-Rod needs to run returnless. I don’t believe the 11540 is recommended for returnless setups however.
Can I retrofit one of the stock 2010 Camaro SS pumps to the Spectra 203FI tank? What pump do you recommend that works best with the E-Rod?

“Returnless” simply means there’s no pressure regulator on the fuel rail. The “return” line comes out of the Corvette-style filter/regulator that most folks use with an LS3 - back pressure regulators work by bypassing/returning fuel to maintain a preset or adjustable pressure point. I mounted mine under the car near the rearend so my return line is only a couple of feet long. The regulated 58 psig supply line goes forward to the fuel rail. I used a Deatschwerks DW300 fuel pump in the tank with -6AN (3/8”) lines. Quiet, reliable - can barely even hear it prime. And MORE than enough capacity for my LS3. Pics of Vette style filter/regulator below....one line in from the tank; one line out BACK to the tank (the 'return'); one line out to the fuel rail (58 psig fuel).
