Yes, after the smooth firewall is installed and the rear suspension is hung, the tunnel will be fabricated along with a new floor all the way to the trunk as well as between the frame rails. The floor is tacked to the rails for now to sort of keep the car in spec and square and to tie it together as well as the fixture the body is bolted to.
Mike will be purchasing a larger bead roller which will facilitate fabricating the tunnel and floor.

Section A was cut out of the firewall. Section B was moved over to where section A was because it had an indentation to it that matched the rest of the firewall. This section was moved over to make panel C come all the way over to the inner fender panel. This makes the firewall more "symmetrical". It would look odd to me if this step wasn't performed. Study the pics with the inner fenders in place for a better understanding Nice! Looks like it belongs there! Clean be hind the ears! What kind of hair tight? And the headers shou;d fit! Attention to detail!
