Talking Questions about L92 Swap into '03 Sierra w/ nv3500

Hello,

Recently I have been very obsessed with the idea of swapping in a L92 into my 4.3L Sierra.
I have a 5 speed manual, and I haven't been able to find any threads anywhere about this specific setup.
I haven't done an engine swap before, but the L92 seems like a good choice, since it should be 380hp in stock form, meaning my transmission should be able to handle it (i've seen some cammed LS swaps mated to the nv3500).
Also, the L92 has a redline at 6k, so I should be able to keep my factory gauges.

*My questions*
Will the L92 be able to bolt up to my transmission?
What kind of computer do I have to use? (How will the engine communicate with the transmission?)
Am I crazy for wanting to do this specific swap? I really like the sound of the L92, and I don't want to have a redline higher than 6k (want to keep the OEM look inside)

I'd really appreciate any insights from people who have done a NBS engine swap. There wouldn't be any internal upgrades, just intake / headers/ x pipe

Thanks
