Default Super T10 4 Speed to Extended Crank 6.0 from 1999

Hello Everyone,

Recently, been working and researching on finding a good post about manual transmission swaps into G-Body's with LS Swaps. The Final Goal is to reach a TSP engine with a t56 Magnum. However, my current budget doesn't qualify for that kind of purchase. So, been searching and searching. Seems the best bet to get my 1984 Monte Carlo on the road again for the cheapest (yet reliable[I know, I know. Impossible right?]). I have the ability to purchase a 1999 6.0 with the infamous extended crank. My research as yielded not much in terms of results. I want to mate it to a Super T10 that is on Ebay. There's a huge mix of people saying it will work and it wont work that you need special flywheels. I'm trying to get the straightest answer possible. What would be needed to at least get the trans-engine combo to work. What would make the flywheel contact the starter properly? Would this kit work: https://shiftsst.com/store/bellhousi...rsion-kit.html Do I need this flywheel?: https://www.mcleodracing.com/index.p...pns-30525.html

T10 is 26 spline input shaft. Will be getting hydraulic system installed with it. Is there anything else I'm missing?

Thank you in advanced!

You figured out the issues with the long crank and flywheel. I would call Mcleod to double check if that flywheel will work. I've seen it mentioned before, but not seen it used.
That kit will probably work, but is kind of expensive. You might want to source your own parts from this:

Okay sweet! Looks like my searching kind of payed off after all! I've certainly skimmed over that thread a bit but haven't dove into the details quite yet. Thank's for the response! I'll post up a build thread possible to see how everything works out! There's another G body owner out there converting an AR5 manual transmission but since I don't want to wait for that thread, I figured I'd just ask about the Super T10.
