Find a way to adapt the VVT cam sensor plug into the harness. Not sure this is possible.

If I have to pull the cover off I might as well change the cam

ok guys got the cam swapped and almost ready to fire up.my injector harness does plug into the l96 injectors with no problem and locks but the injector dosen't look the same should this still work

The injectors are 50# flex fuel truck injectors and look different than LS3 injectors but work with the stock intake (they will of course need to be tuned) and(they won't work with an LS3 intake) I am looking for a full replacement for my L96... (LS3 complete top)

I brought a complete l96 didnt eant to change the injectors

Fired the engine up for a few seconds everything seems to be fine.the throttle body off the l96 has a different plug than the 5.3 is there a adaptor I can use and got the cai on and the plastic hose that runs from the valve cover to the air box do I just plug that off because there isn't a spot on the new cai pipe

Can you use L96 injectors in an LS3 intake manifold by using larger O rings?

Just use LS3 injectors.

I used AC Delco 89017587 (LS3 O-rings). The injector circumferences are the same it just the length and the Intake hole diameter. I opted not to used the stock fuel rail as the cross over sat nearly an inch above the intake and though cost is a factor for me, I still care about appearances in some respect..... long story shout, it still cost me $150 for a fuel rail set up but I get to keep the stock injectors. Since I am running the original ECM, engine, and trans in nearly a stock configuration, I am hoping the flex fuel injector will give me minimal tuning issues as I may be doing that my self... So if you can find a good complete LS3 intake with bolts, injectors and fuel rail for under $450... do that.... learning by trial and error is costly...
