Hey gang, I've done several stand alone harnesses but this is my first with a GTO harness. I've got a 2004 GTO harness now stripped and ready for stand alone, but I have one connector in the harness that I can not identify. It comes off the driver side rear behind the bank 1 O2 sensor connector. It has much larger gauge red/white stripe and red/black stripe wires going to it that go to nothing right now. I laid it out over the motor a second time and it doesn't even appear to go to the engine/trans. Anyone have a clue what this is for? Thanks!
Thanks man! from the image it appears to be the throttle relaxer #8 since it's in that general area on the harness pic. My question now is WTF is that? what does it do? Makes sense now as to why I can't find a plug for it.
It's what the tracation control uses. I would describe it as the gas pedal pushes back against your foot. My 2000 trans-am did this at was a garbage form of traction control IMO.

newer stuff is electric throttle and doesnt do anythign with the pedal you can just be matted and itll adjust the blade without your pedal being effected.
