Low mount AC closest to the block?

Low mount AC closest to the block? Who's brackets keeps the low mount AC compressor closest to the block? And/or is the factory low mount AC compressor smaller than aftermarket? I have an SD7 with Holley's brackets, not yet installed yet, wondering if there is something shorter and closer to the block so I don't have to notch so much of the front crossmember. Yeah I know there is the high mount brackets, looking for something mounted low on passenger side.
Here's where an Alan Groves low mount with Corvette spacing ended up on mine....

It does *IF* you are using their motor mounts, & with F body or truck spacing. Throw 1" back mounts & Corvette spacing & then it wont work. Trying to put LSA SC on it with stock belt setup.

Scot, I'm guessing you're trying to fit this in a g-body? I did my 99'F-body LS1 swap back in 02' before all the swap stuff we got now. Started out with the factory ac compressor. Cut & reboxed the frame in front of the idler arm for extra clearance. Also had to notch & box in the crossmember for backside ac compressor. After 2 factory variable compressor failures, switched to a sanden & the available BRP mounts to not have to make something in assembled vehicle. The sanden is smaller & now has more clearance room.
The point here is this is hot rodding & done correctly, there is nothing wrong with cutting & reboxing in frame & crossmember for some clearance to do things the way you want with the products you want or have.
I love having the ac compressor down low for looks, actually had someone argue with me that I needed ac.

Did you ever find a solution ? I bought the holley mount kit for my Grand National and i am trying to figure out the same thing, im doing a LSA supercharger also. With the holley mounts is there enough room to notch the frame for ac before you would hit the mount ?
