Default Water pump help

Hey, so Im swapping a lm7 into Nissan 300zx. Everything is fine, just need my IC piping and manifolds welded. Already had motor running before decided to turbo it.

here is my issue. Accessories!

so right now the motor has a corvette crank pulley, a water pump that will run corvette or Camaro accessories. Now here is why I need help. I purchased bracket kits that put alternator and p/s in front of the heads. They have to mount in these spots. Nothing can go on sides of block or to side of heads. Im tight on room for DPs and manifolds.

as you can see in the pictures, i apparently bought truck accessories brackets. So I need a truck crank pulley. What can I do for the water pump? The belt does not line up with the pulleys by about an inch. Can I pull the pulley forward an inch or so I have to purchase a new water pump? If I need a new water pump, can I get a water pump that will fit the truck accessories that does NOT have the water neck going upward towards hood. Its gotta come straight towards radiator.

any suggestions or hep would be great. All I need is alternator and p/s to be in front of heads like inside the pictures. Anything I gotta do to make that happen is just whatever. Ill do them.

Ok I looked them up. They have 3/4 option and 1.5 option. I would think I need the 3/4 but Ive already spent money and wasted it so now I wanna double check everything.

Also so if you look at the bracket kits, how do I correct the space from the alternator to water pump now that itll be spaced out?

Truck/SUV Water Pump (12681184) or LS3/L99 Water Pump (19207665)

does anyone have the measurements of how far the truck water pump in the picture actually sticks out from the block?

The crank pulley references for each are as follows. Corvette is 1.5" out, F body/GTO is 2.25" out and truck/new camaro is 3" out. If you have the F-body pump now the 3/4" spacer will put you at 3" to align with truck spacing correctly. I do see your concern with the alternator bracket. It appears to bolt to the water pump which would be spaced out further and no longer work unless that alternator kit has multiple ways/spacing options it will no longer work.

I couldnt have asked for a better reply. Thank you. The turn buckle style adjuster has couple spacers and a connecting bracket. I may have to remake the connecting bracket. But for now Ill order spacer kit and my truck crank pulley and then see where I stand. Thanks again!

Are you going to have enough room in there for a radiator and fans with the truck accessories? Looks really tight in there now.

Your alternator is the problem there, not the waterpump or crank pulley.

The alternator is a mile off.

This is the kit I bought. I just installed it with the instructions. It does appear to stick out more than p/s but I didnt install the pulley yet. So when the p/s pulley is on, itll show alittle more.

that kit and p/s kit are meant to work with each other. You can see both alternator and power steering are out alittle more than WP. So Im thinking I needed the 3/4 spacers for sure. Who knows maybe I have wrong alternator in there. It had the plastic on back with vent. Had to take it all off, which Im very uncomfortable with.

The crank pulley will work with the water pump, just about. LS2 pump would have been better and free up more space up front ( or LS3 )

Your PAS pump is never lining up with that crank pulley.

An FBody crank pulley may get you closer as it runs around 1" further out than the Vette crank pulley. ALthough your alternator looks even more forward than that ?

I am getting a truck crank pulley. That corvette one is useless for me. Truck pulley is supposed to work with that bracket kit on alt and p/s. Also the kit calls for the truck water pump. The power steering is just a tad forward from the current water pump pulley. The alternator pulley is 1/2 past the riding part of water pump. So if I were to put a belt on the alternator, 1/2 of that belt would be off the water pump. The rest would ride on water pump.

Really hoping that 3/4 spacer works but Ill tell ya, the alternator right now seems to stick out alittle more than p/s. Which both should match.
