If he really wanted a mid engine setup with the engine out back ( as technically the Vette can almost be described as mid engined as the engine already sits behind the front axle line even it it's still up front )

There are already LS engine/trans combos out there that use a proper transaxle and certainly electrically, would be much much easier.

It'd still cost a damn fortune and require massive fabrication.
