Default 4l80e segment swap

Can a 4l80e be segment swapped to an 2007 e38 ecm from a silverado?
I have a 07 6.0 that had a 6l90 with it. The 6l is burned up and i dont want to cut tunnel up in car.
All this going into 74 Olds 442

It might be.

I have a e38 tht originally had a 4l70e.
I run a 80e behind it with a few tricks to the tuning and a 80e/60e relay conversion harness.

Did you use the t42 TCM?
Where is the relay harness availabe from?

You have to use a T42 TCM.

There is no reason to use a Relay harness if you have a 4L80e harness. If you do not, you are better off using an adapter harness and the proper OS for a 4L80e. Then it all works as GM engineered.

It sounds like i need to look into an adapter harness fm t42 to the 4l80?
Is there info out there on pinouts and diagrams?

If you have the correct engine harness it will have the T42 TCM connector. At that point, you just need a T42 TCM with the appropriate calibration.

Can a t42 be programmed with HPTuners?
Should I say calibrated?

Yes it can be tuned to work. Its a 07 tbss tcm so im pretty sure its a t42
