2011 lm7 to 04 sierra swap posible ? Hello, just wondering if i could get some guidance. We have an 04 GMC Sierra and a 2011 GMC Sierra with the lm7. I wanted to ask you guys if an engine swap would be possible or how difficult of a challenge this might be installing the newer engine into the older body. And what do you think a reasonable cost for selling the engine to him would be lm7 with 120000 miles on it btr stage 2 btr cam. Dod delete amf delete.

The 2011 engine is NOT an LM7,which is a Gen III engine. Possibly an LY5.
Gen III engines do not have VVT or DOD, which is the same as AFM.
