Update-

Fabricated a Catch Can


I don’t have any pictures of it installed. I will take some later.

I’ve been having some transmission issues for awhile. Started off with high trans temps after a burnout. Then it wouldn’t shift into 2nd. A big burnout was the nail in the coffin. Pretty much just stopped moving all together.

First time rebuilding a automatic trans.

Purchased a Jakes Stage 2 rebuild kit.

Here’s the damage.









The forward clutches were very burnt and it got progressively worse from there. The direct and intermittent clutches didn’t have any material left.
