2 Wire Alternator Question

2 Wire Alternator Question I have the PCM from a 2005 Suburban L59. The connector is the 2-wire setup. My alternator is also a 2-wire unit so no problem there.
Do I need to relocate the brown and gray wires to pins 15 and 74 on the green connector like it says on the LT1swap website? Or do I need to put them back to where they came from (what pins)?
Also, the gray wire coming from the 2-pin connector has a splice and two gray wires coming off of it. Do I need to terminate the second grey wire somewhere else, or can I cut one off and run the other to pin 74?

I guess the purpose of it is to maintain a more steady charge rate and prolong the life of the alternator. I personally wouldn't run it, seems like kind of a waste of time unless you have so extremely demanding charging system. I wouldn't worry about your battery at all.... and for what it's worth i have a 99-02 harness and that ran 1 wire. 3 years and all good charges like a champ.

Ok. I understand a lot of people trick the system in to providing a constant 13.8V. I do not know if that is especially high or low. I just don't want to run the battery too hot and/or boil off all the electrolyte.

I don't know that trick mine just runs the same way it was meant to in 2000 haha. Puts out a constant 14.3 - 14.4 drops to 14 ish when the fan comes on. As long as it isn't putting out some ridiculous voltage I wouldn't worry about your battery.
