1966 chevelle LS2 build
The car needs a bunch of body work so I’m starting with the engine rebuild. I disassembled it with the help of the “how to rebuild GM ls engines. Lots of shiny colourful pictures. It seemed it had been well taken care of thru it’s previous life, came apart easy, really clean.
Next up some pics to make it real...
Here is the harness on the operating table. So far I’ve deleted and depinned the 2 rear o2 sensors and the oil pressure sensor.
Would this be the vss plug? It’s last in line after the Round tranny plug. Do I keep the vss?
I can’t figure this one out. It’s a blue and grey wire next to the cam sensor plug
Another one I can’t figure out. Light green, dark green, black. Same area between the passenger side knock sensor plug and the cam sensor. Any ideas?

if you dont already own efilive or hp tuners, then the holley could be a sound choice for your build depending how tight the budget is.
you will spend a few more dollars on the holley but it will give you better logging capabilities, a self tuning function more applicable for mods and hot rodding, and it will have a few extra inputs and outputs the factory ecm doesnt.
you can definitely have a very functional and reliable combo with the factory ecm as well, GM has fantastic ECMs, it will just be a little bit more effort.

now the remaining 3 are the ones I don’t know.
All 3 went to the fuse block.
#1 pnp clutch/start switch signal
#9 park neutral position switch signal
#10 back up lamp supply voltage (this one seems simple, powers reverse lights)
any ideas are appreciated
