I’m surprised you were able to rotate the converter when you were installing the flex plate to converter bolts. I too was thinking it might be installer error or you are extremely unlucky to have gotten a dud from the factory. I just couldn’t imagine a new transmission which I am sure has multiple redundant quality checks before they leave the factory would be defective. Lesson learned slow down a bit and no better tools than your own hands vs. power tools to feel when something isn’t right, glad you got it figured out.

Hos about running the Tuff Stuff booster with the S10 MC and the DSE bracket? With the stock engine, it'll have plenty of vacuum, and the parts are in stock.

If it doesn't show up soon I guess I'll try and get my money back and go another route........ Shouldn't have to wait this long for the HydraBoost...... It's not Rocket Science....

I waited 5 months for mine after initially being told 60 days. After speaking with the owner it has been a parts/supplier issue. Can't get parts you can't ship product? He said the company that makes his billet mounting plates were closed due to covid for a while. Call and speak with the owner and he might be able to give you an idea?

Finally got the Hydro Boost and got it installed..... Had the high and low pressure hoses made and installed.... Had to reposition the proportioning valve...... LOL..... Had to take the fender well out to get at the brake lines to make new ones to suit....another one of those simple things that turned into a multi-hour fix......Anyhow got the reservoir installed and hooked up .........filled the system with fluid and have to go thru the process of bleeding all the air bubbles out of the hydro boost system...... Then all I need to do is bleed the brakes and put the Hood on.....Then it needs to go for a Dyno-Tune to get the system balanced.......Another one finally finished......

Kwhizz - I can't quite tell...what is your power steering reservoir mounted to? Do I see a bracket off the wheel well?

Thanks,
Jim

Awesome build, excellent documentation. picked up some great ideas for my 67 build.
Finally getting my hydraboost after 7 months..

If you bought the connect and cruise, why did you feel the need to get it "tuned" ?

Axle Ratio and Tire Size RequirementsThe axle drive ratio in the calibration is set to 3.42:1 and is suitable for ratio from 3.08 to 4.11. Tire diameter needs to be between 26” and 30”.

NOTE: For optimal performance choose an axle ratio and a tire size with-in the recommended range."
That's in the C&C instructions, so if you "tune" it with HPT or EFILive you can narrow down those calibrations to your exact specifications.

Thanks for the clarification, I was unaware the CC pcm was tuneable. I purchased a crate 376/480 horse from someone that bailed on their LS swap project, I haven't gotten a chance to go through the manual/instructions. Should be the same pcm or close to it hopefully. I will be running 3:73 rear gear and just short of 27 inch tire in my 67 Chevelle.
