My dad had a Cheyenne that color! And yes many questions. The first is tying in the wiring harness to the c10, I’m looking at using current performance obd2 and block. What did you use? Also what did you use for fuel line? Braided?

I used bp automotive. And for fuel: 87 tank, 87 sender, 255lph walbro fuel pump. Got them from fuel-pump.net. fuel lines I got from hotrodfuel hose.com PTFE braided lines. What I did is used braided lines to mate up factory hard-line.
Hey. I built my’86 C10 a few years ago so I might be able to answer some questions that are not related to the LS swap. Mine has a 406 so I can help with the rest of the truck. It should be a law, and we have some stupid laws, that we save every square body truck. Here are a couple of pictures of mine if you have any questions for me. Good luck.
Have a few areas to touch up and get some waste gate pipe cut in there and that side will be doneski! Going to have to clearance the front core support a bit for airflow but it should get plenty of air after that
Hard to see when I’m welding. I keep getting light in behind me. How do you guys see? I get really close and can make it out. Out side I get to much in behind the mask in the garage which has jankie lighting it’s too dark. Good little tacks I think
Try a lighter shade. Also make sure your lenses are rinsed clean, then rain x them. It will help keeping the smoke from clinging to it and becoming dirty.
The normal shade is 10 for most people. I have sensitive eyes and use 11, so I find it hard to see a lot of the time too. Sometimes if you try looking at a different angle, you can get the arc to show the pc welding better. Trial and error. A electric helmet helps
Great Googa Mooga that’s nasty!!!!! How do you like the stick/turbo combo? I had considered it because I’m a stick guy through and through but truck weight scared me off. That and the fact a 6 speed or gf5r would require a sacrifice of my first born or a body part to afford right now.

The stick/turbo thing is really fun. I enjoy it. But if I ever decide to take racing more seriously I’d get an automatic. But for what I use it for it’s awesome.
Well its been awhile but kids a very busy job and other peoples projects coming first will keep you too busy to work on your stuff. Plus its cold still up here and I hate cold. Either way here's a little picture dump.
Little hotside action, have since put in my o2 bungs. This is pretty much the routing. I have since pulled the booster off and have gone manual brakes. Also I pulled out the defunct A/C. This Is how the turbos are going to sit. I will put pods on it when I'm driving it. May try to daily this rig in the future. The turbos are pretty much out of sight hidden behind the headlight and bezel. This intercooler is fighting me. Well the core support is. Lots of cutting here, I will go back with tube later on but for now this is going to have to work. I have since this picture turned the intercooler with the discharge to the drivers side.
