Default Fuel question - 67 Camaro LS

Is the stock fuel hard lines sufficient for EFI or should I just run all new braided lines rear to front?

If they're 3/8 inch and you're pretty much stock on the FI side I'd say you're good, even a stock LS1 Camaro only has 3/8 lines?

In '67 I think everything got 5/16 lines unless it was an SS car. The 327 275 horse engine may have gotten 3/8 as well but I'm not sure on that one.

If those fuel lines are original they 50 plus years old. I'd spring for new lines either steel braided or steel/aluminum hard lines.

Yeah as a fellow owner of a '67, I'd run new lines. Plus you'll probably want to use AN fittings for the feed to the rails etc.

I use the stock 5/16th's feed line for return. Run new 3/8th's line for the feed, Hard or braided, depends on your budget and skill.

Another option is buying a roll of Nylon line and some fittings from Dorman. I've done it on 3 cars/trucks now with zero issues. I used the "caulk gun" method to press them in rather than heating the line in boiling water. I have 3/8" line and will do so with my LSA swapped LS3 engine and have no expectations that it will be a restriction. Much more concerned with fuel pump and/or injectors.

I like this approach as well. OE quality fittings. I use this kit a lot for fuel lines...

good call. Earls ULTRAPRO- . PTFE fittings and hose are awesome to work with. They stopped making the 6AN in the black, but still offer that size in the SS hose. Super easy the assemble, light and it bends into sharp angles without kinks.

That's what I've used. Very easy to cut. You can buy 'Vice Jaws' that you can then put in the middle of a vice, to hold the body of the fitting. I screwed mine in dry for the most part, though I later found out that some places recommend a drop of oil for the threads.

I'm running -10 feed and -8 return.

What will you be going for a fuel regulator?

Assuming you keep the C5 FFR close to the tank you only need to run one line forward.

No return line from the manifold. The return line comes from the C5 FFR
