What's going on with A.I.
Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows what's going on with Advanced Induction? I know things are all over the place these days but I did send in a complete top end to A.I. back in October. His website say's he is 10-14 weeks out, I'm going on 16 weeks without any correspondence back. Spring is coming and I would like to drive my car soon. I don't mind waiting for quality but at the very least a phone call, email or text would really be reassuring.
Anyone else in this same situation?

Do they answer their phone?

No I have e-mailed, Texted and Called a few different times. I saw a post on the Fbook today from someone who sent stuff in back in April of 2020 and is still waiting for his heads. I am getting a little nervous.

I would be nervous too. It's one thing to be behind and at least advise of time delays, but being totally incommunicado is never good. If anybody on these forums lives near A.I., go bang on their door and see who's alive, if anyone.

Phil might be one of the people hospitalized and someone in the family or business partner figure just keep the money rolling in just in case the illness goes south
Phil does have poor business practice though.

Well I do hope he and his family are ok. I'm kinda stuck though and it sounds like a few others are as well. He has my 243 heads, fast 102 and TB. I'm seriously starting to think I should be looking for a decent ls3 top end and cut my losses.

This is sad. Last I read several months ago someone tried to get into contact for doing some gen 2 LT1 heads and they said they were so busy with LS stuff they couldn't keep up with demand with either platform. The Wuhan China virus **** may have kicked their asses as well.

I sent my 243 heads to AI and they were received mid November. Going on 17 weeks, just auto- reply emails when I send requests for queue status. Hope all is well health wise with Phil.

Communication has always been an issue with AI. Lately even pre-COVID it seemed like backlog was becoming a real issue as well. This is just rough, I would get getting real pissed at the 2+ month mark never mind 4ish months and beyond. Sucks because I always planned on sending a pair of 241s to them..

If Phil doesn’t realize how important feedback and open communication bid for a business, He almost deserves to fail. JMHO. I considered using him before, but I always knew his lack of communication would be a deal breaker.

Yeah. They give priority to people who pay up front. I think this is stated on their website ? . I guess they have had some experience with finished heads sitting waiting for payment.
