I’d look into Summit Racing. They offer LS1 swap radiators

There is a bunch of radiators to choose from. On my LS swaps I try to run the biggest that will fit in the available space. A LS swap radiator will have the inlet and outlet on the passenger side which makes radiator hose routing easier.

Look up champion radiators. I've had very good luck with them on the last few builds. I'm currently running a 3 row in my 64 malibu with LS and air conditioning. It cools beautifully here in Arizona. They are sold on eBay as well.

Summitracing

We have a few options that look like they would work for your 79 Malibu with an LS swap. There are options in our own brand, Griffin, and Frostbite. There is a range of dimensions in the available radiators. Make sure to verify what dimensions will work for your particular application. If you need a built-in trans cooler make sure to select that within the filter options.

The Summit and Frostbite radiators use AN threaded bungs for the inlet and outlet. The adapters for those are sold separately. You can find them in the recommended or required parts tabs for a given radiator.
