Friday night no prep street race. Not to bad for hitting a safety around 500ft. Fuel pressure dropped and closed loop got above 30%. Going to check the fuel filter tomorrow. Boost wasnt steady at all. It rained anywhere from 13-16.5.

Kyle, can you give me some more details of your AC system. I've got to get AC in my LS3 swapped Foxbody coupe. Of course, like you, I'm going to have to make all of my hoses.

It's been a couple of years since I researched AC so it would be nice to know what hoses, fittings and what crimp tool you used.

mini” Sanden SD7B10 (7176) compressor with a Kwik performance K10291bracket. This is a diagram I did for the hose sizes. Hope this helps

Kyle, thank you for posting the picture of the drawing with the part numbers and dimensions. It's helpful.

I've got a very nice ICT Billet FEAD that uses the OEM Foxbody power steering pump (which I rebuilt) and the OEM AC compressor. The compressor is now mounted on the passenger side vs the stock mounting on the driver's side. Your thread has me looking at AC hoses/fittings/crimp tool information. I last looked at this issue probably a year ago and now I have to "reinvent the wheel" since I've forgotten all of what I researched back then .

I used a cheap Amazon hydraulic crimper and just basic hose from any supplier. Nothing fancy.

Got a AEM dial so now I can change boost on the fly. Also notched the strut towers a little more so I can get more adjustment out of the plates. When I got it aligned several months ago we couldnt get it perfect so now I can go back and hopefully this will fix that.

It was a tight fit but I made it work. Thing is super quiet. The exhaust choked the engine up so much it wouldnt even let it make enough psi to open the loud valve. Ended up putting on Mac valve and it's activated by TPS.

Got my first 60-130 tonight. Had to pedal it quite a bit. Boost spiked to 17ish then settled down to 15 psi.

New intake finally came in. It's been on backorder for over a month. Nice improvement on that 60-130 time. Still shifting early, around 6900. That will be raised up around 7300 very soon.

Went to the track last night for the Friday night race. They start you back in the burn out area, no water and no slips. First pass was on 15-16# and 2nd pass was 17-18#. Launch was at 3400 and made about 4#. Shifting around 7k.

I got some UPR stock location adjustable spring mounts installed. not a big fan of the angle of the spring but it doesnt drive weird. if i didnt already spend the money on the viking shocks then i would get some coil overs. i still might end up going that route later on. I also picked up a Ford Fusion fan from the junkyard for about 50 bucks. Had to trim the shroud in a few areas to get it to fit the radiator but it covers it perfectly. This fan is also brushless and PWM controlled.

I've been a threat to get myself a fusion pwm fan controller but I didn't know that the fan was brushless or would work well on an SN. I might have to check that out for a setup till I order the radiator setup that I want..
I have my other car setup pwm through the Holley and it's NICE!!
That is kinda funky how those springs look. Do you think it's because of the angle of your lower spring cup with those lca brackets?

If you have brushless fans, they usually don't need a controller, but do need a pwm signal.

Ahhh....ok. I thought I read these were brushless. Either way they are way better than a stock mustang fan. I'll keep my eyes open for some fans with 3 wires going straight to the motor.

Most times brushless motors have an odd shaped "hub" which is actually the controller module. Look in the Forced Induction forum for a thread called "Variable Speed PWM Fan Control Under $25 or Less". It is chock full of info on electric fans, PWM and otherwise.

yeah i think so. it rides fine and doesnt act weird or make any weird sounds.i think with the larger diameter stock springs they dont look as bad since they are 4" vs these 2.5".

Went to the track to test the new circle d converter. Ran several new PBs. Had a few issues with building boost on footbrake. Overall I'm happy with it but it still needs some work.

Went and got this thing weighed since I swapped to the BTR intake and 5 inch on3 intercooler. It was 3520 with me in it and a tool bag in the trunk that was around 22 lbs.

I pulled the rear seat bracket, rear seat belts and crash bars out of the doors. Swapped to a braille battery and I'm waiting on the aerospace brakes to arrive any day. So far I've pulled 63.4 lbs out. With the brakes I think it'll be close to 100
