this is my 1st post here and my 1st LS swap. I’ve gotten to wiring and I’m having trouble with my gas pedal. I have a Gen 3 2006 5.3 with tac module and wiring. I saw that the Gen 4 could use the impala pedal after being repined. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to get this tac to work with the impala pedal?
I’ve tried 2 different TAC models and 3 different Impala pedals. I keep getting the same permanent and pending codes: p2138, p1125.
I tried moving the pins around on the pedal harness and still get the codes. When I’ve tried to start the car, it will fire and idle I just don’t have any pedal response.
any help would be appreciated, I’ve hit a wall and have moved to working on the shift linkage and finishing up the digital dash install until I can get some help or find an online resource.
I’ve added photos of the schematic I used to wire my pin. Hopefully someone else has run into this(and I explained it correctly).
Here's a different idea. When I got my 2000 Corvette LS engine it came without a TAC module, and they are like $500, which I was not going to spend. So I got a drive-by-cable throttle body for the same year Camaro, and repinned the harness to be for a DBC throttle body. The swap still isn't running and driving, but I plan to use overwrite the bin file in the PCM that came with the Corvette engine, with a bin for the same year Camaro.

You would have to find a spot under the dash and build a bracket for it. It won't be where the factory pedal mounted, but closer to the column. You could make a plate that bolts into the stock location, then put a couple bends in it, towards the firewall, then bend back to the left, again nearer to the column, then mount the pedal to it. It would have to be pretty thick metal to keep it from flexing though. As an alternative, you may be able to get an older pedal that is metal and cut and weld it, but if you don't have access to a welder that's not going to help you.
