I have built several Maxxecu LS cars including a recent 72 Camaro build with an LS2, Ram 8HP70- all controlled by a Maxxecu Race. The Maxxecu 8HP control is very simple to configure and is an absolute blast to drive in this combination. PM me if you have any Maxxecu LS/8HP questions or need access to 8HP flash tool for Maxxecu setups.

Yes, I've been a beta participant. The process is fairly simple. Wire the 8HP and a supported shifter (this car uses a Challenger shifter) to the Maxxecu CAN, and then source a Yanhua ADCP-2 flash tool to flash the 8HP with Maxxecu's custom firmware. Some dealers can rent the tool but not many US dealers have the tool available yet. I have a flash tool available to rent if someone can't access one through their dealer. In the Mtune software, there is minimal setup. A torque table, target RPM shift table, and miscellaneous drop-down options for shifter selection, transbrake operation, and driving mode. Shiftcut and throttle blip are optional but very easy to configure. Maxxecu has its entire MTune instructions on its website- including 8HP instructions.
