Ls1 6 Speed to auto

Ls1 6 Speed to auto I have an LS1 with a 6 speed from out of a 1998 Trans am swapped into a 1968 ElCamino. I used the donor ECM, fuel injection and harness. Everything operates well. I am recently disabled enough where the 6 speed is a challege for me to operate. I want to take out the 6-speed and install an automatic. (6 Speed is already spoken for)
What automatic transmission could I convert this to with the least amount of effort? I want to be sure the automatic will function normally with passing gear etc. I am not concerned about the pedal swap or the driveshaft difference.
I would prefer NOT to have to have the ECM re-progamed if possible. What transmission would be the easiest? TH400? 4L60? 4L60E? etc? Thank you
